STANDARD BUYS STATIONS

Toronto-based Standard Radio is buying two Vancouver radio stations from South Fraser Broadcasting Ltd, 650 CISL and Z95.3 FM. CISL is an oldies station featuring music form the 50s, 60s and 70s. Z95.3 FM is a top 40 station. Currently, Standard owns 11 radio stations in Canada. The deal is still subject to approval by the Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission.
