Desjardins Insurance launches travel website

Desjardins Insurance of Montreal has launched a new travel-oriented website called Destinago.com. The site focuses on the company's range of travel insurance products. It also offers a collection of general travel information and advice. Visitors to the site can get personalized information for a trip and read entries from travel bloggers.
"Essentially, Destinago.com is where travel is at in the age of Web 3.0," said Julie Beaudoin, the company's vice-president of creditor and direct insurance market development. "Canadians took 32 million trips abroad that lasted at least one night in 2012, and it's important to many of them to know where to eat, how to get travel insurance, or how to make the most out of a 48-hour getaway. Destinago.com can give them all of that and more in one place."
