Sorge joins HootSuite

Vancouver-based social media company HootSuite has appointed Jean-Benoit Sorge to the position of general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Based in London, he will lead the company's enterprise sales and business operation in those regions. For the past three years, Sorge has been vice-president and managing director of the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions at Moxie Software. Prior to that, he was head of mid-market sales for emerging markets at Dell Computers. He has also held senior international executive positions at Messagelabs, RightNow and PeopleSoft.
