Fallsview Casino readies billboard campaign

Fallsview Casino of Niagara Falls, ON will begin an out-of-home advertising campaign in Toronto on June 2. The campaign, called "Fun," will make use of a billboard at Yonge Dundas Square incorporating an augmented reality component. Pedestrians can use a mobile device equipped with a free application to view a series of 10-second animations by pointing the device at the billboard. The creative focuses on the fun that can be had at the casino. The campaign was developed by Blammo Worldwide of Toronto. The launch will also include street activities in Toronto until September. "Fallsview recognizes the value of creating brand experiences," said Michael Murray, chief creative officer at Blammo. "The use of AR in their advertising on this project is a great example of their approach. It creates an immersive experience for everyone who interacts with it."
