Globe and Mail, Canadian Kennel Club form publishing agreement
By Adnews Staff
The Globe and Mail has formed an agreement with The Canadian Kennel Club to publish its Dogs Annual and Dogs in Canada magazines. The club ceased publication of these titles in 2011. Under the new agreement, the two organizations will work to refresh the magazines and increase awareness of the brand. "The Globe team will bring a fresh new lifestyle perspective to Canadian pet owners in Dogs Annual and will bring the credibility, authority and expertise of Globe journalism to the purebred aficionados who are loyal readers of Dogs in Canada," said Charlene Rooke, group editor of custom content at The Globe and Mail. Dogs Annual has a paid circulation of 42,000, including 20,000 to club members.
