News Canada hires Middlebrook

Toronto-based public relations agency News Canada has appointed Shelley Middlebrook to the position of executive vice-president of business development. She will lead the firm's sales staff and develop its communications, business and product development strategies. Middlebrook was previously executive vice-president at Brunico Communications. She has also been a senior sales manager at CBC Television, national sales manager at the Globe and Mail and vice-president of integrated sales at Postmedia Network.
