NEW CONSUMER FINANCE MAGAZINE

Investment Executive of Toronto will launch a personal finance magazine next month called IE:Money. The publication will explain investment strategies such as long-term investing, asset allocation and off-shore investing. The first issue will feature articles on topics such as the outlook for the equity markets, how to pick a mutual fund, how to determine what kind of investor you are, the allure and reality of offshore investing and market timing versus buy and hold strategies. The quarterly magazine will have a circulation of 100,000 and will be available via financial services companies and financial planners, as well as through subscriptions and at newsstands. Investment Executive also publishes a money industry newspaper published under the company name. The publisher of both publications is Barbara Hyland. She has also been publisher of The Financial Times of Canada and developed The Globe and Mail's InfoGlobe on-line publishing services. Argyle Communications of Toronto is handling PR for the launch of the magazine.
