WILDCARD INTRODUCES NEW MODEM
By Adnews Staff
Wildcard Technologies Inc. of Toronto launched its SatisFAXtion 428 modem to the Canadian market this week. Optimized for Windows 95, the package includes applications such as Symantec-Delrina WinFax Pro (versions 4.0 and 7.0) and Microsoft Exchange for Windows 95. Line sharing technology allows the modem to automatically recognize voice, data and fax transmissions across a single, shared telephone line. It identifies incoming calls and, where available, can take advantage of distinctive ring services. WildCard marketing communications manager Angel Tar told Adnews yesterday that advertising plans have not been finalized but that a campaign should be under way very soon. The company traditionally advertises in popular computer magazines and The Globe and Mail. It use Kuhn & Associates Ltd. of Mississauga, Ont. to design its ads, while media buying is done in-house.
