The British Columbia Direct Marketing Association will host a series of noon hour launch events in Vancouver beginning next month. On Oct. 3, Michael Marckwort of MultiActive Technologies Inc. will talk about Eagle Direct Marketing, an Internet service that gives you instant access to list information for direct marketing and sales prospecting. On Nov. 7, Herring/Newman Advertising president Phil Herring will explore how database marketing, brand advertising, event planning and the Internet can be integrated to create customer loyalty. On Dec. 5, Canadian Direct Insurance president Guy Cloutier will talk about implementing direct marketing as a strategy to compete with ICBC in the auto insurance business. On Jan. 15, 1997, Mona Goldstein of Wunderman Cato Johnson will discuss a direct marketing high-tech case study.
