TC Media of Montreal is preparing to launch mobile websites for approximately 160 of its daily and weekly community publications. The new sites will be optimized for reading on smartphones, and will be designed to enhance the local content available. The publications are located in Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan and the Atlantic provinces. "TC Media is an acknowledged leader in hyperlocal content and by adding this platform we will be able to stay in touch with consumers anytime, anywhere," said Stéphane Gagné, vice-president of local digital solutions at TC Media. "Given the exponential growth in the use of smartphones, offering a mobile version of our websites has become more vital than ever."
