Nissan Canada of Mississauga conducted an out-of-home promotion in four cities on July 1 in support of its 2013 Altima sedan. The promotion took place in Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. Each installation consisted on a spray of water and light that created the illusion of a three-dimensional image. According to the company, this was the first time this technology has been used in Canada. "At Nissan, we provide innovative and exciting vehicles in all segments and are proud we delivered on those two qualities by presenting Canadians with the first show of its kind here on Canada Day," said Judy Wheeler, director of marketing at Nissan Canada. "Pairing the Altima with the 3D water show was an optimal way for us to showcase the Altima and Nissan's direction as a company, inspired by the high level of dynamism we aim to impart to every Nissan customer."
