Toyota Canada shuffles corporate communications staff

Toyota Canada has incorporated its corporate planning staff into its external affairs department. External affairs handles corporate public relations, government affairs, regulatory affairs and corporate social responsibility for the automaker. It will now also handle corporate planning and communications. As a result, Steve Mofina, Steve Patrick and Rick McDonald have now joined the external affairs department. In addition, product public relations have been moved to the marketing company's department. Melanie Testani will lead a new product PR staff that will include media contact Rose Hasham, events specialist Jane Xie and PR consultant Danielle Furlan. Mandy Armstrong has also moved to the marketing department to support Toyota's dealer associations.
