Glacier Media has retained Vancouver-based Kommunity as the communication agency for the launch of its new real estate website REW.ca. The site will specialize in local real estate search for the Greater Vancouver area. Kommunity won the account after an agency search involving an unknown number of Vancouver firms. The agency will develop a communications strategy for the site and work to strengthen its brand. A campaign will begin in the spring. "We picked Kommunity because of [agency president Scot Keith's] unique and flexible business model of building very senior and talented teams around our business objectives and that really appealed to us," said Ian Martin, general manager of REW.ca. "We have a new and valuable product to promote to a very real estate hungry audience here in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We're very excited about collaborating as one team."
