Kommunity Hockey launches in Vancouver

Vancouver-based Kommunity has launched a new unit called Kommunity Hockey that will specialize in marketing and branding related to that sport. The unit will offer its services to existing and new clients related to hockey in North America and Europe. Scott McWilliam has been appointed the position of general manager of Kommunity Hockey. "The interesting thing about hockey marketing is that millions of Canadians have literally spent tens of thousands of hours at the rink," said Kommunity president Scot Keith. "These people know much more about the game than the vast majority of advertisers and agency people. Hockey people can smell a fake or a brand that is just trying to buy their way into the game and we'll help our clients successfully talk to them in their own language and code."
