PepsiCo Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement with Canucks Sports & Entertainment of Vancouver to become the exclusive beverage and snack supplier to the Vancouver Canucks hockey team and Rogers Arena. During the multi-year agreement, visitors to the arena will offered PepsiCo foods and beverage products including Lay's potato chips and other snack brands, as well as PepsiCo fountain drinks at concession stands and vending machines. The agreement also includes branding and advertising at points-of-sale, branded cups, in-seat ordering and rink board signage. PepsiCo Canada will also donate $10,000 and a pair of Canucks home game tickets to the Canucks Center for Kids Fund. "I am sure all fans can agree that hockey is better with Pepsi and Lay's," said Jason McDonell, vice-president of marketing at PepsiCo Foods Canada. "Hometown pride and supporting local Canadian community organizations are very important to both the Lay's and Pepsi brands and we are thrilled to be able to go one step further by giving back to the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey."
