Snapple conducts Best Place on Earth Contest

Canada Dry Mott's has begun a promotion for its Snapple brand called the "Best Place on Earth Contest." To enter, consumers can visit the brand's Facebook page and enter the UPC from a Snapple bottle or can before June 17. The grand prize winner will receive a one-week trip to one of four locations, including Sydney, Australia and Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Thirteen weekly prizes of Olympus 8010 digital cameras will also be distributed. To enter the camera draw, consumers must submit a photograph of a Snapple bottle or can for public online voting. The contest coincides with the Canadian launch of Snapple value cans. It will be promoted in-store and on Facebook, as well as through media relations. "Snapple is made from the best stuff on Earth," said Carol-Anne Gower, marketing vice-president at Canada Dry Mott's. "So it seemed natural for us to offer Canadians the chance to visit some of the best places on Earth through this new contest." Contest execution and in-store promotion are being managed by Black Rock Marketing of Toronto. Online and media activities are being handled by Veritas Communications of Toronto.
