International news: McCann Worldgroup launches integrated strategy practice

McCann Worldgroup of New York has launched a new integrated strategy practice. The practice will be headed by Ed Castillo and Erik Jansen, who have been appointed to the newly-created position of integrated strategy director. They will lead the integration of strategy across disciplines and across media for a number of McCann Worldgroup global brands. Castillo was most recently senior vice-president and director of account planning at PHD New York. He has also worked at North, Leo Burnett, R&R Partners and Applied Research and Consulting. Jansen was most recently managing partner at Naked Communications of New York. He has also held director positions at MPG and Messner Vetere, Berger, McNamee, Schmetterer.
