Workopolis conducts Prepped to Shine contest

Job search website Workopolis is conducting a contest in association with CTV tied to the upcoming Academy Awards on Feb. 27. The promotion, called "Prepped to Shine," includes a sponsorship of the awards show broadcast on CTV. The initiative is aimed primarily at people who are currently employed, but interested in learning about other job opportunities, with the intention of attracting them to the Workopolis website. To enter, consumer can visit <http://www.preppedtoshine.ctv.ca> each day until Feb. 27 to answer an Oscar-themed trivia question. With each correct answer, entrants are eligible to win a daily DVD prize pack and are entered into the grand prize draw. The winner will receive a meeting with the staff of ETalk Canada, a $5,000 professional wardrobe makeover, a trip for two to Toronto and two gift certificates for the Stillwater Spa. The promotion is being supported by pre-roll on CTV.ca, banner ads, material at Workopolis.com, as well as a Twitter feed and Facebook page. "Just because you're not up for best actor doesn't mean that you don't deserve to find your A-list job," said Jennifer Posnikoff, of Workopolis. "Workopolis has tools and resources that help candidates find their opportunity to shine, whether it’s getting professional help on their resume, education and training support or even having the latest career opportunities delivered to their inbox every day."
