Golf Town readies 2011 campaign

Sporting goods retail chain Golf Town has signed an advertising deal with QMI Sales. The agreement includes the printing and distribution of flyers in Quebecor Media daily newspapers nationally, as well as print ads in Le Journal de Montréal, the Sun papers, 24 Hours, various community newspapers and 7 Jours magazine. In addition, a television campaign will run on TVA and a Golf Town web presence will be added to Canoe.ca. Special programming displaying Golf Town products and services will also be available on demand through the Videotron Illico service. The campaign was developed by Top Drawer of Toronto and will run through 2011. "Golf Town's confidence towards Quebecor Media is testimony to the quality and unique character of its media offer in Canada," said Philippe Guay, vice-president of QMI National Sales. "This deal also demonstrates QMI National Sales' capacity to provide innovative and personalized solutions which meet every announcer's needs. As a single point of contact, QMI National Sales delivers a simplified ad buying experience and allows clients to reap maximum value from Quebecor Media's convergence strategy."
