Dare opens in Vancouver

Communications agency Dare, based in London, UK, has opened an office in Vancouver. The agency will be headed by Richard Hadden, formerly of Cossette, as president and chief creative officer. John Hall, former general manager of Cossette West, and Sandy Fleischer, former general manager of Fjord Interactive, have been appointed senior vice-presidents and managing partners. Bryan Collins and Rob Sweetman have joined the agency as executive creative directors and partners. The office will have a staff of approximately 75. "Dare is going to be based on a new model for the advertising business," said Fleischer. "The newly-created marketing communications company combines digital expertise with the brand-building skills of a traditional ad agency." Dare is a division of Esprit de Corps, an agency group operated by Vision7 International.
