Travel Alberta hires Wakeham & Associates Marketing

Sponsorship Marketing Group of Toronto has been hired by Travel Alberta to promote travel to that province in southern California. The initiative will include sponsorships of the Anaheim Ducks hockey team and the Honda Center arena, as well as other promotional activities. Sponsorship Marketing Group is an affiliate of Wakeham & Associates Marketing. "We will focus on consumer promotions in southern California which invite people to learn more about the magnificent scenery of Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper in the Rocky Mountains, as well as events and attractions in the exciting cities of Calgary, Edmonton and beyond," said company president Hugh Wakeham. "Our promotions will offer prizes of travel to Alberta and will include unique experiences ranging from Anaheim Ducks fan packages to wilderness adventures, spa packages, the Calgary Stampede, the Edmonton Indy race and more."
