TVO creates new division for marketing and business development

Toronto-based public educational broadcaster TVO has merged two business areas into a new division for business development, revenue and marketing. The division will handle marketing, communications, corporate sponsorships, donations, research, digital strategy and business development. It will be headed by Winnie Wong, vice-president of digital strategy and business development. "Digital is now an integral part of the business and permeates everything we do," said TVO CEO Lisa de Wilde. "This re-organization supports our focus on building self-generated revenues, integrating digital into all areas of our business and building the TVO brand across all platforms."
