New board chair at TFO

Toronto-based French-language public media organization TFO has appointed Dominique Giguère to the position of chair of its board of directors for a term of three years. She was previously vice-chair. Giguère is also co-CEO of Currents Group and mayor of the Township of Malahide, ON. She has also worked at Doctors Without Borders, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, Seneca College and TVO.
In addition, Frédéric Duguay, a member of TFO’s board of directors, has been appointed vice-chair for a three-year term.
