BELL INTRODUCES TWO NEW PRODUCTS

Bell Canada of Toronto will launch a campaign by next week for its new Vista 350 telephone and its visual call waiting service. The campaign is just running only in Ontario's 416 area code, and uses direct mail, radio, TV and point-of-purchase materials. As the two products roll out to the rest of Ontario and Quebec, the campaign will roll out as well. Currently the Vista 350 and visual call waiting are available in the 416 area code and in Montreal. The campaign was created by the Leo Burnett Company of Toronto. The Vista 350 was introduced early last month. It features a special screen that displays the name and number of the person calling. Visual call waiting was launched earlier this month. It lets the person receiving the call view the name and number of the person calling. Bell customers must have the Vista 350 in order to have visual call waiting.
