Gatorade gains new endorsees
By Adnews Staff
PepsiCo Canada has signed endorsee agreements with a number of Canadian athletes in support of its Gatorade brand. The new endorsees are part of the company's wider rebranding effort for Gatorade called "G." The participating athletes are mixed martial artist Georges St-Pierre, hockey player Gordie Howe, hockey player Cassie Campbell, long-distance runner Ray Zahab, wheelchair racer Chantal Petitclerc, and high school basketball player Bradd Arseneau. "Just like in the US, the Canadian Gatorade brand is recognizing some of our nation's most influential and inspiring athletes," said Dale Hooper, marketing vice-president for Gatorade in Canada. "These athletes represent Canada's best while also serving as motivation to any Canadian who sweats."
