Zig receives Axe digital account

Unilever has hired Zig of Toronto to be its digital agency of record in Canada for the Axe brand of men's body spray. The assignment includes strategy, creative and digital initiatives for Axe Deodorant, Body Wash and Hair Care products, as well as digital strategy for the overall Axe brand in Canada. "We've enjoyed a successful partnership with Zig over the past three years on a variety of projects, and are extremely confident in their capabilities," said Alison Leung, brand building director at Unilever Canada. "Their commitment to creating ideas in their most powerful form is a great fit for the irreverent Axe brand and our plans for digital moving forward. Our local efforts will be very focused in this area." Zig has previously been the strategic agency for the Axe brand in Canada.
