More cuts at CTV A stations

CTV has announced further cost-cutting initiatives at its A-branded stations, including more job reductions. The morning show has been canceled in Victoria, London and Barrie, while the evening and late newscasts in Ottawa have also been canceled. As a result, 118 positions have been eliminated at the A stations in Victoria, London, Barrie and Ottawa. In late February CTV announced that it will close the A stations in Wingham and Wheatley, ON in August.
