Cadbury hires Cossette Media and Horizon Media

Confection company Cadbury has retained Cossette Media to handle its media planning and buying account in Canada. The agency will work with Horizon Media of New York, which will handle media in the US. The two firms pitched for the North American account together in a review process that considered 11 proposals. "Horizon Media and Cossette Media came out on top thanks to their complementary capabilities that we believe to be critical to win in the United States and Canada," said Lesya Lysyj, executive vice-president of marketing at Cadbury. "The agencies bring to our business a creative approach to media and a willingness to push the boundaries of communication that will allow Cadbury to be heard loud and clear in the categories in which we play."
