Royal Agricultural Winter Fair breaks new campaign

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto has begun a new advertising campaign for this year's event using the tagline, "Stick it to November." The initiative, created by Zig of Toronto, includes an online video depicting the fair's ability to alleviate the monotony of the month of November. A shortened version of the video is running on television in Toronto, London and western New York. Other elements include radio ads in Toronto and newspaper advertising in southern Ontario. Media buying was handled by McIlroy & King Communications. "We recognize the fact that there just isn't much to do with your family this month, but that's where the fair comes in," said Stephen Leps, creative director and art director at Zig. "Our goal is to make November synonymous with attending this great event." The fair will take place from November 7 to 16.
