Royal Agricultural Winter Fair retains Maverick

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto has hired Maverick, also based in Toronto, as its public relations agency of record. Maverick won the account in a competitive review process. The firm will lead public relations activities intended to raise awareness of the 91-year-old fair, which showcases excellence in Canadian agriculture.
"Maverick's expertise, coupled with a strong passion for all things Royal, made the agency a clear front-runner to lead our communications initiatives," said Sandra Banks, chief executive officer, of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. "It was important for us to work with a partner that was passionate and understood our goals for engaging multiple communities across Canada."
The 2013 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair will take place from Nov. 1 to 10.
