S-Vox hires Lafontaine

Monique Lafontaine has joined Toronto-based broadcaster S-Vox as vice-president of regulatory affairs. She will begin work on Nov. 24. Lafontaine was most recently general counsel and director of regulatory affairs at the Directors Guild of Canada. Prior to that, she was a counsel in the communications practice group of the law firm McCarthy Tétrault. She was also a policy analyst for the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
