Canwest promotes Reeb

Canwest Broadcasting has appointed Troy Reeb to the position of senior vice-president of news and current affairs. He will direct the company's local and national Global News and CH News divisions. He will also work on the launch of a new current affairs news magazine program on Global this fall. Reeb joined Global News in 1999 as a political correspondent. He then became Global's Washington bureau chief and White House correspondent. Most recently, he was vice-president of news operations.
