Axmith McIntyre Wicht becomes Agency59

Toronto-based Axmith McIntyre Wicht has changed its name to Agency59. According to company president and CEO Al Scornaienchi, chief creative officer Brian Howlett and David Foy, president of the agency's direct division, the name change is intended to reflect the new generation of ownership at the firm. The name also recalls that the company has been in business under one name or another since 1959. The agency was founded in that year as Dalton K. Camp & Associates. It became Axmith McIntyre Wicht in 1992. The agency's clients include  Interac, Egg Farmers Ontario, Mercedes-Benz Toronto, Telus, Duncan Hines, Vlasic, Hungry-Man, the City of Toronto, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt, Newalta, the Province of Ontario, Hewlett Packard, Chase Paymentech and Labatt.
