Toronto-based Consumer Impact Marketing has received an assignment from Research In Motion of Waterloo, ON to conduct a US-based sales and merchandising program in support of the wireless company's Curve and Pearl devices. The initiative will focus on US wireless carriers. The account will be handled by the agency's American division, of which Christopher Terrio is the president. Prior to joining Consumer Impact Marketing, Terrio was the manager for Canada at Heineken International. "Expansion throughout North America is a key initiative for CIM because our clients are demanding global solutions," said Mike Smith, CEO of the company. "Our approach has been built on integrated sales and marketing programs, and this initiative enables us to provide that in a borderless package."
