Golf Town retains Top Drawer Creative

Sports equipment retailer Golf Town, based in Markham, ON, has appointed Toronto-based Top Drawer Creative its agency of record. The firm won the account in a review that began in July and included an unknown number of agencies. Top Drawer has done work Golf Town on a project basis for the past three years. "We chose Top Drawer because they demonstrated a clear understanding of our customers, the changing face of golf in Canada and the market opportunities that we could pursue," said Stephen Bebis, president of Golf Town. The agency will develop a communications program and a Web-based social networking system to support the Golf Town's expansion plans and reach new customers.
