Branchez-Vous introduces online advertising service

Montreal-based Internet media company Branchez-Vous has launched a new online advertising service called BV Max. Operators of websites in Quebec who register with the site will be able to display ad banners sold by Branchez-Vous. Participating sites will receive 50% of the revenue generated by these ads. "In the last few years, the Google AdSense program has been a very popular self-service text-based advertising solution amongst Web publishers," said company CEO Patrick Pierra. "We now offer to Quebec-based bloggers and Web publishers a similar service for display advertising, which is usually sold at a higher price than text-based advertising." The service, which is located at <http://www.bvmax.ca>, is being operated in association with Redux Media of Montreal, which manages an advertising network of English-language websites in Canada and the US.
