Toronto Standard Media Company has signed an advertising sales agreement with Octopus Media. Octopus Media will represent all online advertising sales at TorontoStandard.com, a daily digital briefing on the life of the city. The sales deal consists of traditional ad units as well as pre-roll and custom content sponsorship. Octopus Media will also integrate online assets with sponsored events available through Toronto Standard.  "Toronto Standard is very quickly becoming an important voice for the city and beyond. Their content rich site, from editorial to video, is compelling, engaging and allows brands to reach a very targeted and specific consumer base,” said Zoltan Toth, President of Octopus Media. Octopus Media represents media for HMV, King West Media and TIFF.

Montreal based Redux Media, announced it has signed an exclusive partnership to represent TheStreet for ad sales within Canada. Redux’s portfolio consists of more than 2,500 partner Art, Music and Entertainment websites. "We are excited to roll out TheStreet’s growing Canadian audience to the advertising market. TheStreet’s suite of advertising products, quality content and highly engaged audience with premier demographic characteristics are perfect for delivering high impact display advertising and sponsorships for our top-flight advertising clients."  said Claude Dugas, President of Redux Media Inc. The agreement provides Redux Media the exclusive rights to market and sell advertising on behalf of TheStreet’s portfolio of sites, including: TheStreet, Stockpickr, MainStreet, BankingMyWay, TheStreet Mobile applications, TheStreet Video and a variety of premium service and free and paid e-mail newsletters.
