Alliance Atlantis has released a promotional publication in support of its specialty channel BBC Canada. The publication, called BBC Telly, takes the form of a 16-page British-style tabloid newspaper promoting the channel's fall season. The tabloid will be distributed as an insert in today's issue of the Toronto Star. Approximately 250,000 copies of the one-time publication will be distributed in the Greater Toronto Area. An online version has been posted at <http://www.bbccanada.com>. "We have a real focus on the best and boldest of British lifestyle programming and wanted to highlight this in a fun and engaging way," said James Johnston, marketing associate at BBC Canada. "The tabloid reaches out to women-in-the-know when it comes to style, relationships, decor and lifestyle issues in general." The campaign was developed by Pilot PMR of Toronto.
