Discovery Health promotes Baby Month

Specialty television channel Discovery Health has begun a campaign to promote a special month of programming called “Huggies Baby Month.” During July, the channel will air 250 hours of infant-themed programming. The promotional campaign makes use of footage captured by wireless video cameras attached to the hats of two babies, presenting their view of daily life. New episodes of the promotion, called “The Baby Cam Project,” will be posted online daily at <http://www.babycamproject.com> until July 10. The promotion was developed by Toronto-based Pilot PMR. “We wanted to develop a campaign that would reinforce the message that Baby Month on Discovery Health is an entirely unique event in the Canadian television schedule,” says Tamara Stefek, senior consultant at Pilot PMR. “The Baby Cam Project is designed to draw the viewer into the baby’s world in a real and engaging way, providing an experience that cannot be found anywhere else.” Discovery Health is owned by Alliance Atlantis.
