Panasonic Canada readies pair of photography contests with CTV

Panasonic Canada is preparing a pair of photography contests in association with specialty channels Animal Planet and Travel & Escape, both owned by CTV. Both promotions will run from June 4 to Sept. 2. The Animal Planet Wildlife Photography Contest will invite participants to submit pictures of Canadian wildlife, while the Travel & Escape Summer Vacation Photo Contest will invite submissions of travel photographs. Judges will choose the winners based on choice of subject, setting and technical merit. The winners will be featured in a 30-second on-air promotional video. The two grand prize winners will receive Lumix digital SLR camera and lenses, photo players and memory cards. Prizes for the second- and third-place winners will also be awarded.
