Bikers Against Despair begin campaign

GJP Advertising of Toronto has created an advertising campaign for Bikers Against Despair to promote its annual fundraising event for the Distress Centres of Toronto. The event, which will take place on May 27, consists of a group motorcycle ride through southern Ontario, beginning and ending in Toronto. The marketing campaign consists of two television commercials, airing on CBC, Global and Rogers stations, along with two print ads. The creative depicts bikers attempting to raise money by selling almonds door-to-door and by holding a car wash. Additional promotional materials include a poster, a brochure and a bandanna. The Distress Centres of Toronto provides support for people who are socially marginalized, distressed, in crisis, victims of violence or suicidal. GJP, which created the campaign pro bono, has done work for the Distress Centres for six years.
