Segal retains Smart account

Mercedes-Benz Canada has retained Segal of Toronto to conduct brand experience campaigns for its Smart division. This is the second year that Segal has held this assignment. Last year the agency conducted several initiatives on behalf of the brand, including a charity auction and a corporate scavenger hunt. On June 3, Smart vehicles will be the official pace cars of the Becel Heart & Stroke Ride for Heart event in Toronto. “It’s clear to us Segal knows Smart and understands how to reach our target groups in a unique and engaging manner,” said Richard Trevisan, division manager of Smart Canada. “What sets them apart from others is their creativity, passion and ability to bring us results. Their efforts from 2006 made them our obvious choice to lead Smart’s marketing for another year.”
