Smaller Agency launches in Toronto

A new advertising firm called Smaller Agency has launched in Toronto. The company uses the tagline, “Start small and think big.” According to the agency, its operations are intended to prioritize flexibility and speed to market. Its services include brand design, marketing strategy and product launches, among others. Smaller Agency’s clients include Andrew Peller Estates, Starseed Cannabis, Saturday Cannabis, Grolsch, Pilsner Urquell, Lob Toronto and RClub.

The agency was founded by CEO Noah Barlow, previously head of the digital unit at SDI Marketing. Prior to that, he was vice-president of brand elevation at GreenSpace Brands, as well as brand and programming director at Me & Lewis Ideas. Barlow has also worked at Blueband Digital, CIM and Segal Communications.

“We think that the ability to do big things isn’t just for big agencies,” said Barlow. “It’s really the hard-working, well thought-out ideas that make the most impact in market. From time sheets, management tools and reports to on-boarding and team management, so much of the work wasn’t associated with the actual job of developing amazing creative for our clients. No client ever asked for a bigger agency, more overhead and more account people working on their brand.”
