Mitsubishi Canada has signed on as the title sponsor of the Canadian leg of urban adventure competition The City Chase Series. The events, which will be called The Mitsubishi City Chase, will take place in eight Canadian cities in 2007. In each competition, teams of two must reach a series of checkpoints located throughout a city and separated by various challenges. The winner of each City Chase will participate in the national finals. The winning team members will win the use of a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. The team will also compete in the World City Chase Championship in September. “Our involvement in Canada's top urban adventure series is a natural one,” said Larry Futers, director of national marketing for Mitsubishi Canada. “I'm confidant that this partnership will continue to strengthen Mitsubishi's 'Go Far' brand positioning and elevate consideration for our brand as we strive to provide an exciting affordable alternative for performance minded consumers.”
