Animal Planet readies new branding materials

Toronto-based specialty channel Animal Planet Canada will introduce a new visual style during a free trial period in July. The rebranding includes a new logo, a new on-air campaign and a redesigned website. The modifications are intended to make the channel look "edgier," according to the company. The channel will also debut nine new series and four new specials during the free month. Animal Planet is owned by CTVglobemedia.
