Prime Restaurants hires Cowan & Company

Prime Restaurants of Canada has hired Toronto-based Cowan & Company Communications as the public relations agency of record for its Casey’s Grill & Bar chain. The agency will spend the next year conducting a public relations campaign involving message development, media relations, issues management, store openings, promotions and media tours. “We knew that Cowan & Company was the right PR agency for Casey’s because they have a proven track record in exceeding our expectations and working with first-class brands,” said Grant Cobb, vice-president of Casey’s. “They understand the Casey’s brand, they fit with our corporate culture, and they truly know how to hit the ground running to generate results.” Advertising for Casey’s is handled by Downtown Partners, while media buying is done by Wills & Co. The chain has 34 restaurants in Ontario and Quebec.
