Shopbot.ca hires Cowan & Company

Comparison shopping website Shopbot.ca has retained Cowan & Company Communications of Toronto to develop public relations for its upcoming Black Friday marketing campaign. The program will support the site's planned special promotions on Nov. 29, which will be offered to consumers in association with a number of participating retailers. The assignment includes media and influencer relations intended to attract traffic to the site during the month of November. The campaign will focus on the special deals that will be available on Black Friday.
"When we were looking for a PR agency to promote our Black Friday campaign, we were immediately impressed by how C&C listened to our goals and came back with innovative recommendations that understood our business and showed they have their finger on the pulse of Canadian media and digital influencers," said Monika Hajzokova, Canadian sales director at Shopbot.ca.
