FPinfomart to carry Globe and Mail content
By Adnews Staff
CanWest MediaWorks has reached an agreement with The Globe and Mail to offer the newspaper’s content through its FPinfomart service beginning on Jan. 1, 2007. FPinfomart will license the Globe’s material and distribute it electronically to the service’s subscribers as part of their base package. The agreement includes including two years of archives and daily feeds. “Our contract with FPinfomart will extend the reach of The Globe and Mail content to many Canadian organizations,” said Sandra Mason, general manager of digital media, at the paper. “This is another way that The Globe and Mail is providing our customers with more ways to access the news and content they most want.”
