LiveDeal Canada breaks advertising campaign

Toronto-based LiveDeal Canada has begun a new advertising campaign to promote its classified ads website at <http://www.livedeal.ca>. The campaign consists of newspaper and Web banner ads, as well as keyword advertising at Google. “We introduced our formal ad campaign to promote the LiveDeal.ca service to a broader audience and believe the creative perfectly captures the concept behind our company,” said Simon Jennings, general manager of LiveDeal Canada. “Buying and selling locally is fast, easy and affordable when it comes to hard-to-ship items like cars, furniture, pets, sporting equipment and real estate.” The print executions depict various items being torn from the possession of the previous owner and placed with a new owner. The ads are running in the Toronto Star, The Hamilton Spectator and The Guelph Mercury. The print creative was produced by Toronto-based Bensimon Byrne. Banner ads are running on the Olive Canada Network collection of websites, which includes CNET.com, Maxim.com and NHL.com. The campaign will run through December.
