Veritas Communications adds four

Veritas Communications of Toronto has added four new staff members. Kathy Barnett has joined the agency as director of public relations. She was most recently director of marketing and advertising at Tourism Toronto. Melissa Cassar has been hired as an account manager in the agency’s Public Affairs practice. She previously worked in Ottawa as a policy advisor to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. Prior to that she was an advisor to Liberal MPP Leona Dombrowsky at Queen’s Park in Toronto. Janine Allen has joined the Veritas as an account coordinator. She spent the last four years in the hospitality and tourism sector. Brenna Flynn has been hired as the agency’s receptionist and director of first impressions. She is a recent graduate of Conestoga College.
